Nights like tonight, when I’m up late working and the house is silent but for my humming laptop and clacking keyboard, I miss my boys madly. I often rewatch this - nothing new for those who’ve been following me for a while. But, tonight I’m in the mood for a resurface.  I love my family so much it hurts sometimes.

We had Francois in the house, and I’d bring him out for floor time occasionally around 4 months, but I don’t think it had any impact. Around 6 months we started putting Francois’ in Ryan’s crib for every nap and bedtime. He just took to him! It’s been convenient to have more than one now that he’s attached. We don’t typically take F out of the house with...

Today is the best kind of weekday morning! I didn’t set an alarm, and Ryan is still sleeping in to that point that I’ve gotten myself 100% ready without having to keep him occupied. And I don’t have an early meeting/flight, so I can let him sleep as long as he wants. Day is off to a great start!

No surprise, the water was Ry’s fave, followed by digging in recycled rubber pits. I have to say, these boys are extremely well-behaved. They’re toddlers and I know Jess would say they have their moments, but really, such...
